How to Mix Audio Files

Mix multiple songs into a single song, simply and seamlessly! Audio Editor Deluxe provides you a professional sound mixing tool to mix your music files with minimum effort. It has practical uses, DJs, for example, mix songs into one another to create extended DJ mixes, and artist mix songs together for "mash-ups", hybrid songs that combine aspects from multiple pieces of music. 1. Input an Audio File

Launch Audio Editor Deluxe. Click "Open" to activate a browser window, in which you can select an audio file from your computer. Then, click "Open" to input the audio file to program.

2. Select a Part

Select the part you want to mix with another audio file. If you do not make a selection on the waveform, the mixing will be applied to the whole audio file. There are 4 ways to select a part: click anywhere of the waveform as a starting point and use hotkey like Shift+Home, Shift+End or Ctrl+A to select from start/end or all; click the left button and drag along with the waveform to the place wanted to be selected; specify the beginner & end of the session by moving the sliders below the waveform window; Input the start, end and length of time to choose a specific part at the bottom of the editor.

3. Mix Files

Click "Mix File" to activate a browser window, in which you can choose an audio file you want to mix with the currently selected waveform audio. Then, click "Open" to activate "Paste Mix" window to specify the parameters of mix volume. Click "OK" to apply the mixing. If you want to listen to the mixed audio, click "Play" button.

4. Save the Changes

After the mixing is finished, you can save the new file by clicking "Save":
Save File - to save the changes to the original file.
Save File As - The file that has been edited can be saved with a different file name and/or location.
Save Selection As - to save just the highlighted selection to a file.
